On this past Saturday I finished yet another amazing Beachbody program- T25! I set a goal to take the Beachbody challenge of drinking my Shakeology and working out with Shaun T for a 10 week workout program. I came home 5 days a week to complete a 25 minute workout and on Fridays endured a Double workout totaling only 50 minutes. Unfortunately, I did not see the results I had hoped. Did it make me frustrated? YES!
Does that mean that I give up and decide the program doesn’t work? Nope! Instead I had to really reevaluate why I did not see my results….
I discovered that I did not give it my all. Just because I do a 25 minute workout each day, does not mean that I could still eat unhealthy snacks such a chips and hot Cheetos when I get home, then eat a bowl of ice cream for dessert. I also did not really watch what I was eating on the weekend when I went out drinking. It probably did not help when I ate Mcdonalds or Pizza at 3am and then went to bed. I kept telling myself that I was eating healthy and working out. I was so frustrated when I did not see the weight loss I thought I should have seen, but it was all my fault. I was sabotaging myself.
So what do you do when you fail, well not fail… just don’t reach your intended goal———- YOU TRY AGAIN!
Before I restart, I decided to start with a 3-Day Shakeology cleanse. I am basically drinking only Shakelogy for most meals with a salad with chicken or fish. I am also trying to drink much more water. I decided to also go back to one of my old favorite workouts-TURBOFIRE! I miss my Chalene Johnson, and it is nice to get a taste of her fun workouts again. Completing a Fire 30 workout today kinda made me unsure about restarting T25 again, because I loved it so much. But, I think I am going to do one more round of T25 again first, but this time the correct way. I am gonna work harder to stop snacking and drink less.
I will see results! I will reach my goal!
