My Personal Fitness Update and Lessons Learned!

 

I have been working out and trying to stay on track with my fitness goals since before the holidays. At first I was doing great! I was eating healthy, working out each day, and maintaining my weight even though I enjoyed some god food during holiday meals.

Then vacation started in Vegas and I enjoyed some buffets and good slushy Fat Tuesday meals. I came back from vacation 4 pounds heavier. But that did not stop me! I still tried to get back on track with drinking my daily Shakeology and restarted the Beta Phase of T25!

Then many night of drinking and late night eating have not helped me to lose the excess weight I gained on vacation. I then realized that I need to get serious and really start focusing more on my fitness goals.

So here are my new goals

1. Track my diet on myfitnesspal.com every day no matter what! (i only lasted 2 weeks and fell of track)

2. Buy a fitbit tracker so I can get more accurate information on my daily calories burned

3. Try this new workout program hybrid of T25 and Turbofire and go to my free gym in my building to do a little more cardio on the treadmill or elliptical

4. Drink much more water

5. Get better at tracking my weight loss and inches lost every Saturday

It may be winter and very cold outside, but I am going to have the body I have always dreamed of no later than April! It CAN and WILL happen!
