Lose Weight and Win $$$!! How can you beat that??

This beautiful lady one day decided she needed to change the way she lived. She is the mother of 2 and decided she wanted to have the energy to enjoy time with her kids.  She drank Shakeology, did Insanity, changed her diet, and didn’t give up. She lost 80 pounds in 7 months while her husband was deployed! He didn’t even recognize her upon his return!

Tell us about your life before you started the program.  How did you feel about yourself and your body?

Before beginning my weight loss journey, I felt unhappy and disgusted with who I had become. I simply felt done with the way I looked, done with the way I felt, done with the person who I let myself become. I felt unmotivated in fitness, health, and happiness. After having my baby (4 months before I started insanity) I couldn’t even look at myself. I just felt yucky and ready to make a change in my life.

What inspired you to change your life and begin your transformation journey?

During the holidays, we went sledding and when I realized how hard it was to bend and move I knew something had to change! I saw a photo of me, and something in me just snapped. I knew that was it, it is time to make a difference for myself, my health, my family, and to set a healthy lifestyle for my kids. I don’t want them to see their mother as unmotivated and not willing to do anything to make a difference!! So I said ok, let’s see what Insanity can do for me to help me become a New better me for myself and my family! I want to be here for my children. Later on after doing Insanity a couple rounds, I decided to add T25 to the mix as well as running 3-5 miles 3 days a week.

What is the greatest challenge you faced before beginning the program? How did the program and Beachbody help you overcome that challenge?

The greatest challenge I faced before beginning was my eating habits. Before this program, my family and I would go out to dinner more often than needed, cooked a lot of comfort type foods, and yes I have a sweet tooth. This program helped me so much to over come this, because of not only the nutrition guide, but just by helping me realize what I was putting in my body. Calorie counting/ meal planning was new to me, but SO worth every second!!  For example: Spaghetti nights at our house consisted of meat, sauce, and a TON of noodles. Once I got my food scale and actually weighed out the amount recommended in the nutrition guide I was shocked!  I never had even stopped to think my portion sizes were so far off! Now I am VERY cautious and weigh/read/calorie count anything!!

Why did you choose this particular program?

I chose to start with Insanity, because I wanted something to ‘kick my butt’ and kick it hard. I knew I had the drive to stick with something once I started, but having it all laid out with a calendar and everything was SO NICE! It helped me to stay motivated and on track! I am proud to say I have completed Insanity three times now and am currently on my 4th round! I also completed T25 once! I am also proud to say I now run 4 miles 3 times a week! I would have never in my life thought I’d be doing what I can do today, so to that I say THANK YOU!!! You have changed my life, and will continue to :)

What in particular did you like about the program you chose?beachbody challenge finalist

I LOVE Insanity. Simple as that! I LOVE how hard it works me, and every time I do it it’s just like the first time because I’m pushing the ‘new me’ harder!! I love the feeling I have after I’m done of, “Oh yea that’s right I just killed it!” When choosing to do T25, I loved the fact that I could get in a good work out in 25 minutes! Even after completing Insanity as many times as I have so far, I couldn’t believe how T25 really worked me! I was sweating just as much as I did while doing insanity! With having a baby, the idea of only needing 25 mins was awesome!! Or on days where I am super busy it’s so nice to pop it in and get it done!

Describe the results you achieved with your Beachbody program.  Which achievements are you proud of?

Insanity and T25 have helped me loose 80lbs in 7 months and went from a size 18 in pants to a 8/9 and a xxl in shirts to a s/m! I have a TON of inches everywhere and can finally say I Love myself, love the way I look, and love the new confident and happy me!

How has your life changed since completing your Beachbody program?

Life is happy, healthy and well balanced! I feel like a great role model now for my children, and love the fact I can keep up with my oldest as he bikes and I run. I find myself craving to work out everyday now, and on my off days I almost feel guilty for not working out! I absolutely LOVE that I can say I look forward to working out, because I know I will get what I give!

How did participating in a Challenge Group help you reach your goals? How did your group support you and keep you accountable?

Challenge groups made it even more fun to want to exercise! Seeing and hearing about other’s results made me want to push play even harder!

How did your Team Beachbody Coach support you on your journey?

I met my coach after my first round of Insanity. She has been there answering any questions I have, helping me with anything that I wasn’t sure of, and is always so upbeat and positive! I’m very happy to be on her team during my continued journey!!

How did a Beachbody Supplement or Nutritional Product or Program (such as Shakeology or Beachbody Ultimate Reset) support your transformation? What are the greatest benefits you gained? Did you see benefits to your energy, sleep, mood/mental clarity, digestion/regularity?

I have only been using Shakeology as I am breastfeeding my little one. It has helped me to feel more energized for my workouts, or even replenishing my body after a workout, plus it’s like having dessert everyday!

What tips or tools did you find most useful? What made them instrumental?

The nutrition guides are awesome! They give me ideas to go off of now that I would of never tried before! Love the calendar as well! It looks at me everyday lol and doesn’t let me miss a workout!
