I have not written an article in a while. I have been crazy busy with college and teaching. I also have been working hard on my health and fitness goals and trying my best to inspire others. As I have been continuing to share my passion for living a healthy lifestyle, I have come across many people who just want me to help them to lose 5-10 pounds quick. When they don’t get the results they want right away, they give up. Then they resort to starving themselves or finding some crazy fad diet or diet pills!
My goal as a coach is to help people to learn how to eat a clean diet that can teach them better habits for the rest of their life. It may take some people only 2 weeks to lose 10 pounds, but others it might take 2 months. Every person loses weight differently. Also the SCALE LIES. I have helped many customers with the 21 day fix eating plan to lose TONS of inches. It takes time for some to realize that they need to stop using the scale to measure their progress, but instead they need to focus on how they feel, how their clothes feel, and just realize that the choices they are making is improving their health.
I have to admit I do not eat clean 100% of the time! Not at all! I enjoy my wings, wine, fries, cookies, but I have learned healthy habits that have helped me to keep off the weight for over a year. I am 31 years old and in the BEST shape of my life.
So here are some quick tips for you to start living a healthy lifestyle.
1. Eat at least 3 meals a day, but I think it is better to eat around 5-6 small meals
2. Drink half your body weight in ounces. If you weight 200lbs, drink 100 ounces minimum
3. Try to fit in at least 30 minutes of cardio into your daily life
