22 Minute Hard Corps-Day 1

Today I didn’t hear reveille, but my alarm went off at 6am. I did not have anyone screaming in my ear to wake up, but I had the voice inside me telling me to get my butt up and do my workout. To help me push through my workout, I drank my Energize preworkout drink. Then about 15 minutes later I started day 1 of 22 Minute Hard Corps.  Today’s workout consisted of a cardio and a core work.

The moves for the cardio consisted of some T-jacks, Burpee’s, bear crawls, lateral hops,  lunges and squats (to name a few).  All very simple moves that we completed for three rounds.  Despite the simple moves and short workout, my body was still pretty drenched.  Then I finished my workout with a 10 minute ab workout.

To feel my body after the great work out I enjoyed some oatmeal, two hard-boiled eggs and some strawberries. image

About an hour later I enjoyed my a.m. snack which was my Shakelogy with some carrots.

The rest of my meals were not as perfect as I would like, because I decided to spend some time with my mom today.  I went to Panera and enjoyed a  cup of broccoli cheddar soup with a half sandwich.  Then my mom made a delicious and pretty healthy dinner but can’t really quantify my rations. But she  made some delicious green beans, with two chicken legs  in a caper sauce,  and two very small potatoes.  So my diet was not perfect for my first day, but I am not going to say it was horrible either.

Tomorrow’s a new day, my goal is to push hard and my work out and make sure my diet is on point.  This is an eight week challenge, and I know that I am going to be enjoying my life, so my goal is to try to follow the diet  plan the best I can,  but when I fall off track for one meal I’m not going to let it do you rail my whole week or the rest of the day.

Its not TOO late to join me 8 week support group. You can buy your program and start with us TOMORROW! If you would like to learn more check out this link!
